Features and Operating Principle
The By-Pass Spillway Pit serves to separate the polluted first flush rainwater from the second flush water.
The Desander/Sludge Separator is designed to retain sand and other mineral substances that affect wastewater treatment. Therefore, it is essential in first flush treatment systems with continuous or separate storage. It is also installed for water recovery and reuse in civil and industrial purification plants, highways, and in lamination and hydraulic invariance treatment.
The Oil Separator with Coalescence Filter and automatic shut-off device has the specific function of naturally separating—without the aid of chemical additives—sands, mineral oils, and hydrocarbons present in the incoming wastewater, corresponding to first flush water or floor washing water. In systems equipped with an Oil Separator, the effluent remains in the main compartment where the flotation of floating substances (oils, hydrocarbons, etc.) occurs. Since these substances have a lower density than water, they collect on the surface layers of the liquid mass, forming an oil layer of increasing thickness based on the incoming concentration of such substances.
Supply Specifications
Supply and installation of a First Rainwater Systems in continuous Desander - Oil Skimmer sized with the following project data: first flush flow rate 20mm/h, runoff coefficient 1, delay coefficient 1, for the treatment of water coming from vehicle transit areas, a product from the DECLARED SERIES code SCOLM+DIS__, surface area sq.m. ___, total first flush volume cu.m. , pipe diameter DN, flow rate ___ lt./sec., composed of Prefabricated Underground Tanks produced by EDIL IMPIANTI 2 S.r.l. with a UNI EN ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 management system, made of monobloc Vibrated Reinforced Concrete, reinforced with vertical pillars and horizontal stainless steel struts, with protective anti-cracking elastomeric paint Elastocolor on the external concrete walls for high permanent elasticity and high chemical resistance, concrete in compression resistance class C45/55 (RCK >55 N/mm²), internal reinforcements in high-adherence steel controlled in the factory and square-mesh electro-welded B450C type mesh, accompanied by CHEMICAL RESISTANCE and REACTION TO FIRE (class: A1) certifications issued by an external body according to UNI EN standards.
The Continuous First Flush Sand and Oil Separator System code SCOLM+DIS is supplied complete with:
- External Overflow Manhole on request code SCOLM with external dimensions of cm.x____xh, complete with inlet, bypass, and outlet holes to the First Flush Tank (Sand and Oil Separator);
- First Flush Tank (Sand and Oil Separator) with external dimensions of cm.x____xh, complete with inlet/outlet holes; stainless steel AISI 304 deflector at the inlet; sand and sludge sedimentation compartment; sand separation and oil/hydrocarbon flotation compartment; oil separation compartment complete with Refill filter for coalescence in a removable and washable stainless steel AISI 304 frame, automatic closure device of the floating shutter type made entirely of stainless steel AISI 304 and compliant with UNI EN 858-1 standard.
Treatment Guarantee:
Legislative Decree 152/06 Part three, Annex 5, Table 3 "Discharge into Surface Waters," provided that the qualitative and dimensional values of the influent entering the treatment are respected and guaranteed, limited to the parameters of total suspended solids and total hydrocarbons.
